eCommerce Fashion Executive/Assistant
Bird On A Wire is seeking a driven, talented and highly creative individual to support and assist the founder. You will be providing support with the day to day running of a small but thriving fashion start-up that comprises of an eCommerce boutique, two eCom-marketplace outlets and a shop by appointment Showroom in central Lisbon.



This is a diverse, hands-on role suited to a passionate self-starter or resent graduate with a broad skill set, aptitude for learning fast who is self motivated and hard working.

You will be involved and participating within several elements that facilitate the smooth running of Bird on A Wire. Key aspects of which will involve a focus on retail/sales elements as well as the creative production and promotion that will accelerate the growth of this burgeoning fashion start-up.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

Managing the preparation and fulfillment of orders from stock room to dispatch. Stock up-keep and over-all product maintenance of our online concessions.

The management of our product, inventory and stockroom maintenance.

Maintaining a timely and high standard of customer service both online and during our showroom appointments/ sales events.

Producing immersive creative content for our blog, social media channels and weekly newsletters in order to facilitate click-through and expand our online reach.

Merchandising for the showroom and shoots, this involves the hands-on preparation of stock for photography and display.

Creating concepts for still life product photography, styling and shoot concepts. Producing succinct, witty and engaging written blog content.

Visual research for our inspiration archives. Development of our customer, ambassador and collaborator databases,


You thrive on variety and would call yourself a multifaceted creative. You are a visual person who is passionate about fashion, especially within an independent, slow and sustainable context and your knowledge of global brands, designers and labels is as broad as your knowledge of online fashion, art, design and culture platforms.

Attention to detail is something you like to maintain a high level of at all times and you love both the challenge and freedom working within a small team can bring.

Fluency in English is a must as well as a proficiency using some of the adobe creative suites, Photoshop/Illustrator. You use or are very familiar with all social media platforms from snap-chat and Instagram to Tumblr and Pinterest.
You have the ability to work quickly, independently and to agreed daily targets and deadlines.

Writing proficiency is a bonus as is a flare for photography/styling and business management!

Fashion eCommerce Intern
Bird On A Wire Vintage is seeking a reliable, hardworking and creative intern to join the dynamic team assisting with the day-to-day running of our website/studio and weekend sales outlets. 

Based at our Lisbon studio you'll be assisting with a variety of tasks ensuring a smooth running of the website as well as our other online marketplace concessions.

Daily tasks will include assisting with the wrapping and dispatch of orders, preparing product for photo shoots,  photo research for our online features and social media feeds.

You will gain experience assisting on product shoots as well as facilitating the preparation of them, booking models, researching locations, sourcing props etc.

You’ll learn how to conduct image research as well as how to curate and produce interesting attention grabbing still life imagery. Assisting with generating content for our social media feeds including the blog, Facebook and Instagram.

We're looking for a hard working, imaginative and passionate team player that’s brimming enthusiasm about learning how a small but thriving eCommerce fashion business is run. You must have a keen interest in fashion, have a good knowledge of online marketplace sites including  Etsy and Depop and be a social media obsessive!

This will suit an undergraduate student studying within the arts on fashion fashion or communication related degree, photography or graphic design.
Photoshop skills are a must, photography, design or styling skills are an advantage!
